here is a new motorcycle which some call a V-Max killer coming up from Ducati. This is a pretty nasty looking bike we are going to see. The Ducati Diavel (devil) is a hardcore muscle bike which would make its first appearance at the EICMA Milan by end-2010.
This new motorcycle was earlier called as the Vyper and also as the Mega Monster and Project 0803, but now is officially christened by Ducati as the Diavel(Devil).
This new muscle bike from Ducati would be selling along with a long list of Ducati branded clothing and accessories including watches and even cosmetics. From the spy photos, the Ducati Diavel looks quite different from other Ducatis. Large and bulbous proportions are seen everywhere and a rather Devilish looking design we must say. Now we know from where the name Diavel was picked from.
As far as technical specifications go, all we know is that the Ducati Testastretta 11 engine would be powering the Diavel. BHP and performance figures are likely to be finalised only when the launch nears.
A host of latest technology gadgets would be seen on this new Ducati ranging from the ride-by-wire, traction control to ABS – according to rumors, let us clarify!
MotorcycleNews said that Ducati has applied for a trademark on the name Diavel for the bike as well as a bunch of accessories, apparel and such stuff.
