Honda Jazz Review,Faetures And Pictures
The label Honda Jazz has been used by Honda to symbolize many different models since the year 1982.

The current generation Jazz has been launched in the Indian market for the very first time and Honda is quite confident of a very high turnover in India.

It is the first time that Honda has launched the Jazz in Asian market, and it is only the third economy range car launched in Asian markets, next to the Honda City and the Civic.

However, the exterior appearance of all the Jazz models (in all markets) has remained almost unchanged, while the goodies under its hood keep changing.

So, let us take a closer look at various models released in different generations.

Honda Jazz First Generation Models (2001-2007)

The first generation Honda Jazz model was released in the year 2001, debuted in Japan. Now, the Honda Jazz is sold in nearly 115 countries across the world. The vehicle introduced in the year 2001 is known as Honda Fit in the countries like China, Japan, as well as in the South American and the North American market, whereas the vehicle is called the Jazz in the countries like India, Africa, South East Asia and in the other middle east countries.
The first generation model set a benchmark by selling more than 2 million units, no wonder the vehicle won the car of the year award.

Second Generation Models (2007-2008)

The second Jazz models offered the features like the stylish exteriors, appeal package, excellent fuel efficiency, great performance and the good leg space and greater head-clearance.

The second generation Jazz was offered in three different trim levels - Honda Jazz, the SE, S and the Sport SE models. The S model comes with the electronic front windows, twin air bags and the power steering.

The interiors of the Jazz resemble that of the Honda Civic. The wheel adjustment facility and the fine range of seats provide the driver a comfortable and fine vision. The cabin is well designed properly planned. As a result, it attracts everyone and contains big buttons that can be used very easily. Though the seats are very firm, they can be adjusted fully.

The second generation vehicle has been introduced in Indian market off-late and it offers features similar to that of the new Hyundai i20.

The Honda Jazz comes in three different seating mode configurations - the utility mode, long mode and the tall mode, to provide fine seating and for the cargo space in addition to the 5-passenger seating capability.

The safety features in Honda Jazz include:

• Anti Lock Braking System,

•Electronic Brake Force Distribution System,

• Pretensioner seat belts, and

• Dual SRS air bags.

The utility mode in the car comes with the reverse operation of the back seats and the fully flat floor. The space for the luggage can be extended up to the length of 1720mm. The long mode provides the luggage space of up to 2400 mm to keep longer objects. The tall mode provides the folding facility to the rear seats and provides 1280 mm roof clearance.

The features in Honda Jazz 2010 model include the ABS, air conditioning and the alloy wheels. The top SE Sport Jazz does not offer more features than the two except the subtly racier looks and the new front fog lights. It will attract people at the first sight.

2011 Honda Jazz provides seating capacity of five passengers, and sufficient space for their luggage. The vehicle uses the new sequential and intelligent dual ignition system, which puts two plugs in each cylinder that provide decrease in emission and hence better fuel combustion.
